About the Mission:

The family of Mr. Chester Lloyd Graybill has requested Patriot Guard Riders' presence for the funeral and burial services of their beloved veteran. Mr. Graybill passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 29, 2025 at the age of 98.

Born and raised in Sheffield, Pennsylvania, Mr. Graybill proudly served his country during World War II, from 1945 to 1949, and was stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. During his military service, he learned the printing trade, a skill that became the foundation of his life’s work. Following his service, He settled in Rochester, New York, where he later retired as Head Pressman at Canfield & Tack.

Special Information:

This stage of the mission is optional and will not be attended by leadership. Family and funeral home not expecting our presence during calling hours. Calling hours are from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. If you attend please dress accordingly and limit your time outdoors.  If so inclined, please stand a respectful line during calling hours and limit your time according to weather conditions.

Second Stage - Special Information:

Members will stand a flag line at the funeral home for arriving guests of the funeral. After the service we will escort to the cemetery where we will stand for military honors and burial.  Please dress for the weather and bring your clean 3x5 US or Navy flag.

Third Stage - Special Information:

Cortege should arrive at aproximately 12:00 Noon. We will stand an honorable flag line at burial site during military honors and burial.  Please bring your clean 3x5 US or Navy flag and dress for very cold weather.
